MAURA CARSON BIOGRAPHY:
As a marketing professional and model, Maura has nearly a decade of modeling, trade show and promotional experience, and has done just about everything on the trade show floor! An engaging public speaker, Maura easily draws a crowd and has served as an emcee, trade show computer specialist, game show host, auction presenter, auto show product specialist, and narrator.
Maura offers her clients a winning combination: she is a tall, fit, intelligent blonde with a wonderful personality, and a great aptitude for learning and sharing new information! Maura graduated with honors from Rollins College with a degree in International Relations and a Communications Minor. She is well informed on international business matters, and highly skilled in using all forms of communications software and technology. Maura is very well rounded, and can do everything from walk the runway to lead a crowd in an exciting live, interactive presentation on hybrid technology. Truly multi-talented, she once served Home Depot in two important trade show roles at the same time, assisting with a live Bob Vila show taping and serving as a Tool Time Girl model-greeter!
Formerly the Marketing Director of an Orlando engineering firm, Maura is very tech savvy and shines when presenting new technologies on the trade show floor! Maura has represented a wide variety of high tech clients including Adobe, Cisco, General Motors, Sprint, Toyota, and Global Controls. She can not only set up any assortment of AV, computer, and technical equipment, but she can also enthusiastically teach guests how to use all types of new software, gadgets, or systems! The complicated technical systems she has demonstrated recently include: Wishoo Green Screen Photo Technology for Stub-Hub; Wii video games and systems for Nintendo; On-Star, XM-Sirius Radio, and hybrid vehicle engine systems for General Motors; Blackberry and new cell phone systems for Sprint; and real estate listing website design software for Luxury Portfolio Real Estate. Maura has made technical presentations at Walt Disney World's EPCOT resort on hydrogen fuel cell vehicle systems, and has presented new power generation turbine control system computer systems at the General Electric 7EA Users Group Conference. There is no technical material that she is unable to learn and share!
Maura's skills are quite diverse and in addition to her aforementioned talents, she has served as a runway and print model, hosted VIP's, gathered crowds, managed booths, made demonstrations, performed comedy, and even danced dressed as a Cheerleader right on the convention floor! Gifted with excellent management and people skills, Maura is often chosen by clients to serve as a trade show booth lead, and she has also worked as an event manager and promotional manager.
